Goeie combinatie van de trip. Twee leuke activiteiten. Wel erg duur voor wat je voor je geld krijgt. Eten/lunch bij de cenote is wel erg minimaal aan keuze.

Helaas was de excursie in het Engels en ging het best snel, dus niet alle informatie meegekregen. Ook vond ik het jammer dat we niet langer de tijd kregen in chichen itza, ik heb niet alles kunnen zien. Het was wel een hele mooie belevenis en indrukwekkend. Het zwemmen in de cenote was heerlijk en prachtig.

Een beetje dubbel gevoel. Deze excursie direct de dag na de meeting met Sam gedaan. De reden hiervan was dat wij een Nederlandstalige gids zouden krijgen. Mijn man is 80 jaar en krijgt het Engels niet mee. Dus wij waren hier erg blij mee. Ik zie zelfs Dutch in deze mail vermeld staan. Echter hadden wij een gids genaamd Fabian welke Engelstalig was. Uiteraard deed hij het prima maar kregen wij niet waar we voor betaald hadden. Twee maal €153 is best veel geld… Ik vind dit niet helemaal eerlijk.

De gids had veel kennis en heeft heel veel informatie gegeven over chitzen itza. Het was er erg warm maar er werd op alle manieren voor ons gezorgd, door er zo vroeg mogelijk te zijn, we kregen een paraplu voor de zon en er was ruim voldoende te drinken. We vonden deze dag zeer de moeite waard.

Argelia, one of our guides, says ‘You'll learn about the calendars in the Temple of Kukulkan and its sacred staircase, where each equinox the shadows represent the descent of the feathered snake.'
